Pittsburgh, PA – Schedules for several Port Authority of Allegheny County bus routes will change starting Sunday, Nov. 22.
The Authority adjusts schedules four times during the year to improve service. The changes are included in new schedules available at Port Authority’s Downtown Service Center and other schedule rack locations as well as at www.portauthority.org.
The following changes are planned:
- 16A: The inbound stop at Glenfield Viaduct will be eliminated and outbound trips will no longer travel via Sproat Way. The Glenfield Park and Ride will continue to be served and outbound trips will continue to stop at the viaduct. Additionally, alternate stadium routing during events will be discontinued due to opening of Rivers Casino, and a new timepoint has been added to establish casino service.
- 16D: Alternate stadium routing during events will be discontinued due to opening of Rivers Casino.
- 31D: Weekday service to Mayview State Hospital will terminate after 6 p.m. and all weekend service to the hospital will be eliminated, as per hospital request. Trips that no longer serve Mayview will now start and end at Leader Country Meadows.
- 41B: Weekday service to Mayview State Hospital will terminate after 6 p.m. and all weekend service to the hospital will be eliminated, as per hospital request. Additionally, the trip arriving downtown at 4:34 p.m. will no longer serve Mayview and will instead begin at Bank and Lesnett.
